Job description

A New York City nonprofit healthcare organization is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Quality Improvement team in Long Island City.


Responsibilities:

The Quality Improvement Nurse (RN) will:

• Serve as the Risk Manager
• Complete annual risk management training
• Report to the board annually covering key goals tracked by the individual departments, areas of continued/mitigated risk and ongoing performance
• Work in consultation with the Quality Improvement Team to audit medical records
• Participate with developing and revising Policy and Procedure manuals for the Emergency Preparedness and Safety programs

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Quality Improvement experience in any area of Healthcare

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Risk Management experience
