Job description
Position supports the operational business function for the Military Services Group (CSG) contracts. Responsible for the capital project setup, execution, and closure through to the price filings with the government. This position also supports the price development and modeling for potential business opportunities and the continuous review, analysis and evaluation of CSG business and operational data.
Review, manipulate, and update large data sets associated with finance and other operational databases (i.e., customer service, GIS). Assist manager with review of financial data including actual vs. budget analytics, variance commentary, expense trends, and data accuracy.
Strong Excel skills (i.e., pivot tables, v-look ups, sum-if formulas, data tables, etc)
SAP experience preferred
Understanding of GAAP accounting (i.e., monthly accruals, revenue recognition, expense transfers, etc.)
Understanding of financial statements
Utilities experience preferred
Experience in MS Word and Powerpoint
General working knowledge of GIS desired
