Position Overview : We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer / Editor to join our Connecticut-based team full-time. This role is pivotal in crafting compelling video content that resonates with our audience, driving the narrative of positivity and impactful change. You will be responsible for capturing and editing video content that aligns with our mission, bringing stories of hope, happiness, and humanitarian efforts to life.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan, shoot, and edit video content in line with Happy Productions’ standards and mission.
• Collaborate with our social media team to develop content strategies that amplify our message and engage our target audience.
• Manage the end-to-end process of video production, from concept to post-production, including editing, sound mixing, and graphics integration.
• Travel to various locations to capture authentic stories of the communities and individuals we support.
• Maintain a pulse on social media trends to ensure our content remains relevant and impactful.
• Ensure all content is produced with sensitivity and respect, aligning with our commitment to ethical storytelling.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Videographer and Editor, preferably with a background in non-profit, documentary, or social media content creation.
• Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex messages in an engaging and understandable manner.
• Experience working with social media platforms and understanding of the nuances of creating content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Creative thinker with a passion for making a positive impact through video content.
• Willingness to travel as required for content creation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field is preferred.
