Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in New Kent, Virginia is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
The right candidate will assist the superintendent with all Pesticide and fertilizer applications, hand watering and irrigation scheduling along with the day-to-day duties of managing an 18-hole golf course. The job requires you to know how to accomplish all tasks on a golf course and be able to train new employees. This includes mowing all grass areas, raking bunkers, course setup and more.
Requirements:
A degree or certificate in Turf or a related field.
Experience in:
At least 2 years of golf course experience spraying and spreading fertilizer/chemicals.
Must have or obtain a VA pesticide license within 90 days of employment.
Managing/supervising employees.
Hand watering.
Compensation:
$45,000 – $55,000 per year.
