Job Title: Estimator
Job Location: Remote!!
Job Salary: $60,000 - $80,000
Requirements:
- Experience in piping
- 2+ years of estimating experience in a maufacturing/construction setting
- Ability to use Excel, Outlook, and Word

We are a leader for on-time delivery of high quality pipe fabrication, truckable pipe rack modules and fabricated vessels. In order to better serve our customers in the quality critical petro-chemical, power, and other industries. Each of our established locations has been equipped with the latest fabrication equipment and technology applicable to the industry. We utilize the latest in 3D technology that automatically feeds our comprehensive material control system. Our fabrication tracking software permits the customer to remotely monitor the progress of each fabricated pipe spool on a daily basis.

What You Will Be Doing

As our Estimator, you will be responsible for developing estimates and quotes for our customers. You will be working closely with our sales and operations teams to ensure that estimates are accurate and timely. You will also be responsible for monitoring costs and keeping budgets on track.

- Reviews data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized take off reports
- Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work
- Inquires suppliers for material and subcontract costs
- Prepares and presents companys price proposal based on material and subcontract costs
- Provides improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures
- Conducts work safely and follows all safety procedures

What You Need for this Position

- 2+ years of experience in piping
- 2+ years of experience with estimates
- strong with steel welding, budgeting, quoting
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
