We are looking for an experienced Nissan Technician to join our team. Pay is based on FR hours.
We are offering competitive pay and benefits above Industry Standards! This is an on-site position in Everett, WA - relocation is not currently available.
- Performs vehicle inspections, troubleshooting, and testing for light & heavy mechanical services to determine required or recommended repairs as required and in accordance with company policy
- Diagnoses malfunctions and performs the necessary repairs, including not limited to; replacing parts and components as required
- Performs tire services including but not limited to rotate, replace, mount and balance
- Performs preventative maintenance including but not limited to lubrication, fluid replacements, coolant services, oil change, filter service, and brake adjustments
- Examines the assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
- Verifies vehicle serviceability and ensure quality repairs the first time by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems as required
- Ensures customer vehicles are kept clean during the repair process
- Dexterity and physical strength needed to assemble and repair large automotive parts.
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office programs preferred
- Strong work ethic and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs as authorized.
- Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
- Advise service advisor immediately if any additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed with the promised time.
- Road-test vehicles to ensure repair has addressed the customer complaint.
- Quality checks of work and document work performed.
- Attend training classes and keep abreast factory technical bulletins.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of technical experience
- Nissan Certified is preferable
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Certificates, licenses, registrations:
- Current, valid drivers license
- Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
