Summary of Role:
We seek a dynamic and visionary leader to assume the Senior Director position. In this critical role, you will lead as the strategic force behind the development and execution of our comprehensive data management initiatives throughout the organization, thereby leveraging data to enhance our competitive edge in semiconductor manufacturing, commercial, and business operations.
In this capacity, you will bring your specialized expertise in commercializing machine learning and artificial intelligence to the forefront. Your responsibilities will encompass steering our enterprise data strategy, shaping the technical architecture, and outlining our data systems roadmap. Operating at an executive leadership level, you will be pivotal in influencing internal stakeholders, leading a team of technical talent, fostering a sense of community, and overseeing the operational aspects of data initiatives. This role demands a leader with a forward-thinking approach and a proven track record in transforming data into a strategic asset for business success.
Essential Responsibilities:
Data Strategy and Governance:
Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the company's business goals.
Establish robust data governance frameworks and policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
Create a data-driven culture within the organization, promoting data literacy and collaboration.
Data Management and Infrastructure:
Collaborate on the development and implementation of a scalable and efficient data platform, including data lakes, warehouses, and analytics tools.
Lead the integration and optimization of data across various systems and departments.
Champion data quality initiatives and implement data quality monitoring and improvement programs.
Machine Learning and AI Commercialization:
Identify and prioritize high-impact use cases for machine learning and AI within the manufacturing process, product development, commercial, and corporate operations.
Lead the development and implementation of AI/ML solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure business alignment and adoption.
Monitor and measure the success of AI/ML initiatives, demonstrating their tangible ROI to stakeholders.
Leadership and Communication:
Build and lead a high-performing engineering team with data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML expertise.
Effectively communicate the value of data to all levels of the organization, fostering buy-in and support for data initiatives.
Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to ensure data is leveraged to inform strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in data management, analytics, or a related field, preferably within the manufacturing or semiconductor industry.
Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing data strategies and leading data teams.
Strong technical expertise in data management tools, platforms, and technologies, including data lakes, warehouses, and cloud-based solutions.
Deep understanding of machine learning and AI concepts, with experience in commercializing enterprise AI solutions.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and translate complex data into actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a relevant field.
Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations.
Passion for innovation and a desire to push the boundaries of data-driven decision-making.
Visionary leadership with the ability to inspire and align teams toward common goals.
Experience in the semiconductor industry
Expected Salary Range
$155,200.00 - $291,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
