Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team in the role of Human Resources Coordinator. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive benefits, recruitment, and administrative support across all entities of our company. This remote/hybrid position, based in Aberdeen, MD, offers a unique opportunity to work with a passionate team and make a positive impact on our workforce.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support:
Conduct resume searches, represent the organization at job fairs, schedule interviews, and perform reference checks.
Manage the entire recruitment process, including background checks and new hire orientation.
Maintain and update the company's job descriptions.

Internship Program Management:
Assist in managing the company's internship program.
Foster positive relationships with local colleges and staffing agencies for entry-level positions and internships.

Employee Benefits and Onboarding:
Provide information and assistance with employee benefits.
Assist with onboarding processes for both seasonal and full-time hires.
Prepare offer letters for full-time hires.

Administrative Duties:
Handle HR administrative tasks, including employee files, HR correspondence, labor postings, verifications of employment, and new hire/term notifications.
Assist in maintaining company organization charts in collaboration with the HR Director.

Event Coordination and Research:
Assist in coordinating special events for the company.
Conduct research to ensure compliance with labor laws and best practices in all jurisdictions.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related concentration.
1-2 years of experience in a human resources administrative/recruitment role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ADP HRIS.
Working knowledge of recruitment, benefits, and administrative procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to participate actively in recruitment efforts and networking.
Strong organizational skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Preferred:

Previous experience working in a Human Resources capacity.
Advanced skills in MS Office.
Experience managing projects from start to finish.
