Marketing Specialist
Purpose of role: To execute Phonak US’ channel marketing strategy, including product launches and marketing campaigns to meet budgeted sales, units and ASP objectives. This role drives demand for accessory products, hearing protection and batteries. This role manages key sales channels including AB and AC. In addition, this role will provide local support to PR initiatives including media events, press kits and organizing review and testimonials.

Main Tasks and Responsibities : Execute channel marketing plans (covering the 4 Ps of the marketing mix: Product, Promotion, Price and Place) in close collaboration with other functions in marketing, sales, ops and finance. Ensure strong focus on digital channels and tools.
Support the implementation of targeted sales & marketing programs to build awareness, create demand, and generate leads for products, services and solutions, including Integrated Sales & Marketing Campaigns (ISMCs)
Support the execution product launch process, liaising with relevant stakeholders and departments to ensure launch milestones are met. Report progress regularly and escalate deviations fast
Manage the procedure, implementation, tracking and measurement of marketing campaigns or initiatives under their responsibility
Work with the PR team to define and execute on PR initiatives to build the brand.
Work with agencies on the execution of tactics such as videos, testimonials, etc.
Work closely with the events team and commercial enablement teams to ensure the brand is presented consistently across all channels
Define content calendar for SoMe channels
Curate content to be used in SoMe channels
Manage opex spending relative to allocated budget for own initiatives
Assist in other marketing related initiatives as required
Suggest and support continuous improvement initiatives
Education and Skillset : Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field, MBA (or AuD with equivalent experience in marketing), Highly preferred
1-3 years Marketing experience, experience in hearing or medical device industry highly preferred
Excellent communication, writing, problem-solving and organizational skills, strong analytical skills including data analysis, winning attitude, highly self-motivated
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Ability to manage project teams
Project, marketing and budget management
Salesforce.com, SAP/IRIS, ShowPad experience preferred
A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
