Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives? Join the YMCA as a Manager on Duty. As the Manager on Duty, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our branch, in the absence of Directors and Managers.

Job Duties:

• Open or close the building on time and secure alarms according to procedures
• Routinely inspect and maintain security of the facility
• Address and resolve member problems and concerns
• Supervise staff to ensure adequate coverage in all areas
• Maintain smooth operations and handle problems professionally
• Approve Income Based Membership applications as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some college education preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Complete new staff orientation upon hire
• CPR and First Aid certifications (required within 30 days of hire)
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, hear, see, and lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to fulfill all functions and duties of the job.
