Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides and manages remote patient care with strong diagnostic acumen, using audio and visual technology to complete patient examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Documenting/Charting patient information in line with current policies and procedures.
- Provides preventative and wellness care for all ages 2 and up. Delivers holistic, patient-centered care with continuity as the identified primary care physician.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately through audio visual consultations with patients and able to address patient concerns through these medias.
- Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
- Communicates with patients regarding testing results, follow-up care, and additional information. Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions. Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.
- Educate patients on the risks and benefits of treatments ensuring the patient is a part of the decision-making process.
- Supervision of advanced practice clinicians when appropriate and abide by all associated rules and regulations.

Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) required
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Practice
- Valid DEA required with no restrictions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required
- Minimum of two (2) years of in person clinical experience practicing as a Physician outside of residency.
- Possess an awareness and a working understanding of quality measurement in the management of chronic disease conditions.
- Possess a working understanding and support of a managed care environment.
- Experience using audio/visual technology or video conferencing platforms.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and maintain relationships with various health plans.
- Must have access to high-speed internet and phone lines.
- Must have TX license and at least 5 other state licenses
