Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Status: Full Time / 40 hours per week

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 hourly, depending on experience

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for performing all functions related to shipping. Track and log metrics. Create documentation required to export international shipments. Support other functional areas as needed.

TARGETS

• Practice and follow all required safety regulations. Participate within a safety conscience workforce, which maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Print and process warehouse pick lists within SAP. Review for accuracy.
• Communicate Rush requests to supervision.
• Audit shipment information.
• Create the Commercial invoice, packing lists and other forms required to ensure successful exports.
• Process and accurately execute all shipping documentation for location, including:
• Create BOL (bill of lading) by using SAP to post shipment completion.
• Communicate special instructions to freight carriers.
• Schedule pickups for E-tail orders.
• Create shipping labels.
• Coordinate specialty shipments.
• Coordinate with ANN SACKS freight carriers to obtain shipping quotes.
• Responsible for navigating ecommerce portals and ensuring shipments are printed, 3rd party shipping information accurately assigned.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure positive customer experience.
• Upload images to and remove from image library.
• Update all primary weekly production metrics. Verify accuracy of data, and post to Glass Wall.
• Provides cross functional support to Receiving and Samples team as needed.
• Print Production Order tickets, and verify printed order accuracy, as well as re-print back-ordered production orders.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS

Supervisory Relationships:

1. Reports to Warehouse Team Lead

2. Secondarily reports to Warehouse Manager

3. Supervisory responsibility: this position had no direct reports

Organization Relationships:

• Frequent contact with Sales Teams
• Frequent contact with Customer Service
• Frequent contact with Purchasing
• Occasional contact with Director of Operations

External Business Relationships:

• Occasional contact with outside vendors for purposes of data collection and analysis (such as packing supplies, etc)

Skills/Requirements

Two-year associate degree preferred, plus two years’ experience data support; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in Supply Chain import/export processes and compliance preferred.

Proficient with MS Office software applications including Excel required.

Must demonstrate solid competency with advanced Excel functions and data management including Pivot tables.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Previous experience and understanding of Microsoft Access is helpful.
