- Ensures proper execution of physician orders; assist physician with physical exams treatments & collects specimens for laboratory tests; assist in emergencies; administers medication including controlled substances such as narcotics tranquilizers & noncontrolled medication in oral rectal topical or injectable form; provides medication instructions to residents
- Maintains medication accountability records
- Observes reports documents residents condition and prepares &/or maintains related reports in clinical software system
- Provides general nursing direct care &/or programming assistance
- Applies safety & infection control measures
- Provides assistance (i.e. work direction orientation & training) to Hospital Aides (e.g. dressing bathing feeding)
- Attends various meetings (e.g. Interdisciplinary Team Meetings staff conferences nursing meetings & inservices)
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proof of COVID19 Vaccine or exemption
- LPN License
- CPR certification or willingness to get CPR certified before employment
