Job description

Eastridge Workforce Solutions, in collaboration with our client, one of the largest independently owned investment firms globally, situated in downtown San Francisco, is seeking a highly skilled individual to support database development activities for an existing onshore and offshore agile development team. The team plays a pivotal role in supporting investment operations and fund treasury business teams, managing the technology systems crucial for daily operations. As a Database Development Lead , you will contribute to projects utilizing a range of technologies including Oracle, MSSQL, ADF, Python, Snowflake, Azure, .NET, and SSRS. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain databases using PL/SQL, MSSQL, or Snowflake, with proficiency in at least one of these.
• Apply data modeling expertise and adhere to core database modeling principles.
• Demonstrate a passion for and understanding of technical landscape/architecture, including CI/CD, APIs, and cloud computing.
• Proficiency in other programming languages such as Python or C# is preferred.

Management/Leadership Skills:

• Exhibit leadership abilities through team management, staffing decisions, and fostering positive team dynamics.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with technical analysts, peer resources in technology, and technology managers.
• Understanding of SDLC within an agile "light" organization and experience in building/managing remote onshore/offshore teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in database development.
• Proven expertise in PL/SQL, MSSQL, or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with data modeling principles.
• Experience with CI/CD, APIs, and cloud computing.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, or similar languages is a plus.

Additional Details:

• Base pay: $175,000 (direct hire role, no C2C).
• The listed pay scale denotes only the pay range of the base salary and does not include discretionary bonus compensation, which may make up an important portion of the total remuneration.
• Visa sponsorship or transfer not available.
