Fluor Corporation’s Houston Office is looking for a summer intern to join the Talent Acquisition Team! This internship will provide an undergraduate student an opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced, corporate environment while being mentored by members of our Senior Talent Acquisition Team. This role is heavily focused on Early Careers and will support the Global University Relations Team throughout the summer programs and preparation for Fall Campus Recruitment.

As the Talent Acquisition Intern, you will assist with the recruitment process by:
• Supporting the Summer Internship Program (including event coordination, data management, collaboration with global offices/project sites)
• Assisting with preparation for Fall University Relations Recruiting (coordination of career fairs, branding materials, etc)
• Advertise and manage job postings on a variety of hiring platforms specific to University Relations (such as Handshake, Symplicity, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc)
• Build candidate generation strategies for talent pipelines
• Assist with Full Cycle University Relations Recruitment Process (reviewing/evaluating resumes, scheduling interviews, ATS management, pre-onboarding clearances,)
• Maintain historical candidate data
Collaborate with local employee resource groups
• Perform administrative tasks
• Help with additional ad hoc projects as needed

Location: Houston, Texas

Basic Job Requirements

Rising senior working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
• The ability to stay focused while handling repetitive tasks, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Works well in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Maintain 3.0 GPA or higher
• Previous internship experience in related industry
• Participation in extra-curricular campus activities
• Experience with college job boards such as Handshake or Symplicity
• Event planning experience
