Overview NPSG Global, a privately held company, delivers critical e-fulfillment and warehouse implementation services, from design consultation, technical integration, buildout and retrofits - providing facility operators maximum site efficiencies. We cover key design and execution needs while bridging the two for fast, headache-free projects.
NPSG Global customers are served throughout North America, Europe and Australia. Offices and facilities are located in Atlanta, London, Reno, NV, Phoenix, AZ and Melbourne.
Job Summary The Solutions Business Development (Director/Manager) is responsible for executing the engineering and integration (E&I) sales growth strategy in collaboration with the engineering team which results in revenue generating engineering and integration driven project opportunities for the company. As a Solutions Business Development (Director/Manager) you will own the entire buyer relationship and build your book of business. Objectives are to achieve maximum sales volume, market penetration, profit return and customer loyalty from the selected and/or targeted accounts through business development and account management.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities - Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to close, focusing on integrated material handling solutions from NPSG Global and our partners
- Solution-oriented selling; research prospect strategies and qualify leads resulting in exploratory discussions on our solutions for Sales opportunities
- Maintain and document customer relationship progress in SalesForce
- Represent NPSG Global on trade show, conferences and industry events
- Discover and assess prospect's pain points and needs to position NPSG Global as a consultative resource
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in Retail, E-Commerce, Grocery, 3PL, Fashion and the Apparel market
- Analyze market potential and trends
- Administer overall process of a customer's needs in terms of specifications
- Provide creative business solutions to customer needs
- Collaborate with the internal engineering and integration team on behalf of the customer
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in sales or marketing or related field or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 5 years' experience with solution selling in the material handling industry with demonstrated success in prospecting large, complex business relationships
- Excellent industry networking skills including an extensive existing network in Retail, 3PL Fulfilment, F&B
- Data-driven in measuring and improving the impact of your outreach efforts
- Excellent attention to detail and endorsement of the belief that great process leads to great results
- Ability to demonstrate persistence and overcome obstacles
- Highly motivated to achieve challenging goals
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong active listening and effective questioning skills
- Capable of overcoming objections and strong critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SalesForce and AutoCAD (preferred but not required)
- Flexibility and willingness to travel up to 40%
Work Environment/Physical Demands: - Able to stand, walk, and bend for short periods of time in an office environment.
- Ability to sit at a desk and perform computer-based work for extended periods of time.
- Ability to communicate via phone and in-person.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
