Senior Systems Administrator

Brief Job Description:
SR Systems Administrator to help with a corporate malware detection and analysis effort. The SA will manage, modify and perform support system administration / devOPs functions, such as:
User/role/access
Deployment of application SW to VMs
Development of tools to support deployment
Design, create, and implement ansible-playbooks for all SW deployments
Work across SW/SE teams to understand continuous deployment requirements for DevOps
Provision and access Centos X systems (and perform all local SA work on them)
Create and provide documentation to support SA SOPs, and configurations
Provide DevOps support for design/deployment of next generation service deployments (eg. Rancher, docker, docker swarm, Puppet, Chef)
Work across SW/SE/SA teams to design and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
Manage system patches – Security and otherwise
Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Sixteen (16) years demonstrated systems administration experience administering user accounts; performing server subsystem configuration, network management, installation of software, backups, configuration management, and general system maintenance; and providing input to the design of the organizations systems and mission architecture.
A Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or a related discipline may be substituted for four (4) years of experience, or a Master of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or a related discipline may be substituted for six (6) years experience
Eight (8) years combined experience in each of the following: system backup/restore procedures, system security practices, system tuning, user administration, software and hardware installation and maintenance, file management and system troubleshooting, operating systems (e.g., Windows, Unix/Solaris, LINUX) and storage filers (e.g., NetApp, Isolon) . system accreditation support, and system configurations
Two (2) years demonstrated experience leading teams on small to midsize software development activities.
Additional Certification or requirements:
Active Top Secret Security Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
REQUIRED Proficiencies: Centos, Syslo, Ansible, Bash shell scripting, perl, pytho, Vi, OpenStack, MASH
