Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in Buena Vista, Colorado is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.
Position Overview:
An internship will be a great opportunity for interns to get a practical, hands-on learning experience in all golf course maintenance operations. This internship will allow you to gain the skills necessary to take the next step within the golf course industry, or any other turf management position. Interns will be introduced to all aspects of golf course maintenance, including but not limited to: Irrigation scheduling and maintenance, calibration and proper spray application techniques, equipment operation/maintenance, water management, agronomic planning, tournament setup, crew management strategies, etc.
Requirements:
Enrolled in a program 2 year, 4 year, certificate or intentions to pursue a career in turf management.
Experience preferred but not necessary.
Must play or understand the game of golf. Applicants must be punctual with a strong work ethic, and self-motivating mindset.
Compensation:
$18 – $20 per hour.
