EAG is starting the search for a Treasury Analyst, responsible for treasury and cost management functions, to join our Business Process Outsourcing team.

This role is responsible for the day to day, monthly, and quarterly cash transaction activities for EAG customers. The person in this role is expected to demonstrate daily the appropriate analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills to fulfill the responsibilities outlined below and generate quality results. Strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate to individuals at all levels of the organization are essential along with the ability to work as part of a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for ensuring quality outcomes for the following activities:

• Recording cash deposits and disbursements.
• Completing bank account reconciliations monthly.
• Submitting Positive Pay and ACH files to client banks.
• Responding to client inquiries.
• Ensure client accounting closing schedules are met.
• Ensure internal controls are followed.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI and SharePoint.
• Conduct business following the highest ethical standards.
• Meet deadlines and be able to work in a dynamic environment.

POSITION, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS (Minimum Qualifications):

• BA or BS Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in Oil and Gas treasury preferred
• Experience with Bolo, Enertia, Quorum or W Energy is desirable
• Entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivated
• Aptitude to learn new technology, products, and concepts
• Strong in all major Microsoft Office product (Word, Power Point, Excel) and Microsoft Visio
• Must be based in Houston

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

EAG offers a variety of flexible schedules and models which would be confirmed during the interview process.

The selected candidate will work in our Houston downtown office on a hybrid schedule.
