General Job Responsibilities
The Deposit Services Assistant (DSA) performs a wide range of administrative services including, but not limited to, tracking, monitoring and working on problems and issues related to customer accounts, reviewing and working various reports in the required time frame, and assisting walk-in and call-in customers with their accounts. The DSA must exhibit a friendly customer service attitude and possess knowledge of all bank products applicable to the assigned position. The DSA must fully understand and adhere to all federal and state laws and the policies of the Bank, solve problems with attention to details, and exhibit the ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, sometimes in difficult situations. The Deposit Services Assistant reports to the assigned officer.
Education and Experience
Education
High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
Experience
A minimum of four years of work experience in the banking industry; preferably with CSR and Teller background.
