UHS is currently recruiting for our Controller at Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center in Eagle Pass, Texas. Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center is designed for efficient, advanced healthcare and is licensed as an 101-bed acute care facility. Some highlights include:  X-ray, ultrasound, MRI and CT imaging systems, an angiography suite, electronic picture archiving and communication system (PACS) for medical information and file accessibility, a Women’s Center with four labor and delivery rooms, two operating suites and 14 private postpartum rooms, and an Emergency Department with 14 beds and four fast-track beds for patients with less severe conditions.  Each year the Hospital has nearly 5,500 admissions, 60,000 out-patient visits, 18,000 ED visits and is also a Level IV trauma center.

The Controller supports the market through various roles and responsibilities which may include providing direct oversight of the finance department including General Ledger, Payroll, Account's Payable and Decision Support staff.  The Controller also interacts with all Hospital departments ensuring proper utilization and accounting of Hospital capital and operating resources in accordance with Corporate and Hospital financial policies and procedures.  The position will require active participation and possible oversight for different components of the Revenue Cycle and Supply Chain within the organization including: Business Office, Care Management, Health Information Management, Clinical Documentation Improvement, and Materials Management/Supply Chain.
