Job description
Director, Payer Marketing - Biopharma Firm
Currently partnered with a lead biopharmaceutical firm looking to grow the team with a Director of Payer Marketing. This position is crucial to help drive payer marketing efforts, ensuring the firms products are best represented to payer decision makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading development & design of the payer value propositions.
- Managing and overseeing agency support - (Scope & Budget)
- Leverage data, internal and external insights, market events to craft compelling narratives in the payer space.
- Work closely with the Payer Sales team and Market Research to leverage internally and externally generated insights that inform an impactful strategy.
- Partner with the HEOR team to deliver value messaging to payers that is substantiated by real world evidence generation/synthesis.
Experience and Knowledge
- Deep understanding of the U.S. healthcare market: reimbursement, payment models including legal and compliance requirements.
- Deep understanding of the payer landscape space & how payer decision making impacts providers and patients.
- Familiarity with the current legal and regulatory landscape pertinent to industry.
- Understanding of how clinical trial data and RWE factors into payer decision making.
- Previous product launch experience.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or related field required, MBA preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of Payer Marketing /Market Access experience
- 8+ years of Pharmaceutical Industry related experience
- Able to work on site: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday - NY Based
