Position overview

Are you a student looking for HR internship in a globally leading industrial company? We are eager to hire an HR Intern who easily connects with people and has a detail-oriented mindset to handle the changing nature of the workforce. You will have exposure to all HR areas including benefits, employee relations, event planning and personnel administration. An outstanding HR intern should be detail-oriented and able to demonstrate excellent administrative and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• The ability to draft employee communications, ie; new hire and employee announcements, event communications, etc.
• Support employee health and wellbeing initiatives.
• Distributes benefits compliance notices to newly hired and terminated employees.
• Monitors benefits email box for inquiries from employees and benefit carriers.
• Distributes Evidence of Insurability (EOI) applications to employees.
• Updates weekly disability leave reporting for HR managers.
• Submits benefit invoices to Accounts Payable.
• Tracks monthly benefit enrollments and costs.
• Coordinate activities related to Personnel File management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required skills and experience

• Knowledge of U.S. labor laws is preffered. 
• Knowledge of HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software and Microsoft Office applications is preffered.
• Diplomacy, maturity and adaptability competencies.
• Organizational Skills - ability to set priorities and meet challenging deadlines, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

• Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resource management or studying towards a degree in human resource management or related field.
