Corporate Relationship and Client Opportunity Manager

Location

Silver Spring, MD | United States

Job description

Application Process:
Resume reviews begin immediately. For best consideration, apply by mid-February, 2024. Early applications are encouraged due to the pace of the search.

About the Organizations:

Since the 1990s, the Affiliated Santé Group (Santé meaning health in French) has supported individuals living with mental, emotional, and substance use conditions through a consortium of nonprofit organizations. The common thread between them all is the ability to provide hope and healing to individuals in their most vulnerable times.

The Rock Creek Foundation is a nonprofit founded in 1973, and is part of that consortium. We empower individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or profound mental illness to stay or reintegrate into their community of choice through a combination of therapeutic and rehabilitative services. We offer a comprehensive range of treatment options, including supported employment, residential rehabilitation, meaningful day, and psychiatric rehabilitation services.

Both the Rock Creek Foundation and Affiliated Santé Group are led by Black women who have been part of their respective organizations for more than 15 years. Both organizations are based out of the same Silver Spring office, need to grow their local profiles and fundraising income, and thus are looking for a Director of Development who can spend 50% of their time with each nonprofit. You would join a team of staff who already work closely together between orgs (no silos here!), but would be the second ever fundraising hire on the ASG side and first on the RCF side. You would be the only fundraising staff member currently at either organization, but we expect to add a Corporate Relations Manager soon as well. The Chief of Operations at RCF has a fundraising background, so will be available for some assistance as well.

What We’re Looking For:

The Corporate Relationship and Client Opportunity Manager will be responsible for overseeing successful employment programs for both the Developmental Disabilities Department and the Behavioral Health Department. They will be responsible for hiring and managing staff, monitoring performance, ensuring billing compliance, and expanding the DDA and BHA Supported Employment Programs. The primary goal of this position is to increasing the number of individuals enrolled in these services as well as increasing overall program capacity. The Interdepartmental Client Employment Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization has a thriving employment program that assists individuals with disabilities in obtaining and maintaining employment, exploring higher education interests, and matching their likes and interests with suitable employment opportunities. Collaboration with the Division of Rehabilitation Services and providing pre-employment trainings, will also be essential components of this role.

Who We Are:

At Rock Creek Foundation, a subsidiary of The Sante Group, we believe that having a disability and/or a mental illness should not prevent anyone from having the opportunity to participate in everyday life. That’s why we have been pioneering the field of behavioral health services for the dually-diagnosed: people living with developmental disabilities as well as severe and persistent mental illness. We want to ensure that each person we serve can develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible, in their own communities and is able to realize his or her potential in ways that they could not do so before.

The Sante Group aspires to create an organization that places value on collaboration, innovation, creativity, and inclusivity. To achieve this success, it is essential that all members of our organization feel secure, welcomed, and respected. All members of our organization have a responsibility to uphold these values.

The Sante Group is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, or disability status.
