Finance Manager - Life Impact International
Life Impact International is looking for a Finance Manager to work in our Tulsa, OK office. The Finance Manager has a crucial role in overseeing the financial health of the organization, providing strategic financial guidance, ensuring compliance with financial processes, best practices and regulations. The Financial Manager is responsible for budgeting, reporting, and financial strategy for the organization. Flexibility working with multiple time zones, and experience in Quickbooks is a must!
Life Impact International is a Christian child anti-trafficking 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to reach, rescue, and raise up vulnerable and at-risk children in Thailand, Burma (Myanmar), and Brazil. The organization fights against exploitation in all forms, from trafficking, abuse, and abandonment to slavery and prostitution.
Qualifications:
- Strong financial acumen
- Willingness to work outside standard established hours
- At least five years of accounting, finance or related field (preferably at a non profit) experience
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related filed from and accredited college or university is required.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Google Workspace
Job Description:
- All accounting in the USA office including cash receipts (donations) bank transactions & reconciliations, A/P functions, fixed assets, & credit cards
- Maintaining all functions in QuickBooks (Desktop & Online), PayPal, Shopify, etc...
- Bi-weekly payroll, state registrations, new hire documents, and any HR issues related to payroll
- Sales tax returns, legal documents, local registrations, and any correspondence with the IRS or state departments
- Reconcile credit card statements, expense receipts, etc.
- Maintain records for Burma (Myanmar) safe homes and projects
- Oversee Life Impact Thailand Foundation accounting
- Oversee Life Impact Brazil accounting
- File quarterly sales tax returns in Oklahoma and California
- Prepare and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Complete 990 & state tax returns - prepare all necessary reports and documents, work with CPA to finalize & get board approval
- Annual Financial Review - prepare all necessary documents and reports and work with CPA team
- Complete all corporate filings & registrations - Federal, State & Local
- File FBAR forms (foreign bank account reports) by April 15th each year
- Work with insurance broker on policy renewals and new policies if needed
