Job Details:

• Position: Caregiver for Short Shifts (1hr to 4hrs)
• Hour rate: $14-$15/hr
• Flexible schedules, competitive pay, employee rewards program, & referral bonuses given

• This position is for short shifts only.
• Location depends on the client's place of residence.
• We service Bessemer, as well as Birmingham, and the surrounding areas.

Happier At Home is looking for compassionate, patient caregivers who would like to make a difference in the life of a Senior. We provide non-medical in-home assistance to our clients while enabling them to stay at home and be as independent as possible. You'll meet wonderful people who will look forward to each of your visits with them, and you'll have the opportunity to have a flexible schedule, while only working the hours you choose.

• Meal planning and preparation.
• Transportation, shopping & errands.
• Light housekeeping.
• Laundry and linen changes.
• Companionship & socialization.
• Mental stimulation.
• Encouragement/monitoring of exercises.
• Respite care for family caregivers.
• Bathing.
• Positioning, transferring, or ambulation.
• Dressing & grooming.
• Toileting & incontinence care.

Requirements:

• Must have a Valid Driver's License.
• Must have Your Own Reliable Transportation.
• CNA License is a plus, but not required.

This is a Part-Time position, and the hours vary in time frame.
We provide services anywhere from 1hr to 24hrs, 7 days a week.
Drug Screenings, Criminal Background Checks, and Motor Vehicular Checks will be completed.

Happier At Home provides service in the following settings: private homes and apartments, independent and assisted living communities, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and rehab centers.
