Job description
Visitation School is seeking an full-time, benefits-eligible, Annual Fund Manager as a vital member of the Visitation School Development Team. The Annual Fund Manager is responsible for growing the school’s donor base, renewing and upgrading current and lapsed donors, and strengthening relationships with donors. This position will design, plan and implement annual fund strategies to increase resources for Visitation to achieve its mission. This position oversees the donor database and donor acknowledgments and helps establish and implement data entry policies and procedures to ensure data consistency and quality. Visitation’s Annual Fund Manager reports to the Chief Advancement Officer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, implement and evaluate a comprehensive annual fund program, including direct mail, donor acknowledgments, email and social media communications and solicitations, and monthly giving program.
Develop and manage a system to identify Major Gift prospects through research and screening processes.
Analyze giving data, identifying where course corrections in strategies are needed or new opportunities are emerging.
Ensure donor benefits are fulfilled as promised.
Lead Give Day planning and execution.
Serve as lead contact and administrator for Blackbaud software (RE, RE-NXT, FinancialEdge) and other fundraising software as appropriate.
Work with the various teams throughout Visitation in coordination and reconciliation with the Business Office, developing priorities, maintaining a visible philanthropic presence and ensuring philanthropic activities are recognized appropriately.
Coordinate mailing lists and solicitation lists for direct mail and email.
Provide monthly and ad hoc fundraising tracking reports.
Additional Duties Assigned to Department Staff
Support events sponsored by the department (Merrie Market, Reunion, Trustee Emeritus, etc.).
Serve as Secretary for the Development committee meetings of the Board of Trustees.
Miscellaneous projects and completes various tasks as needed by management.

Ability to work collaboratively with differing levels, but also comfortable working independently; a self-starter with the ability to take initiative when required.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree with experience working in a comparable role. Development/Advancement writing experience with strong written and verbal communication skills required. Proficiency establishing and fostering positive relationships. Advanced working knowledge of computer software and applications including Microsoft office, Google Suite and Raisers Edge products. Two plus years of supervisory experience preferred.
