CUNY School of Law???s Admissions Department is welcoming applications for an Admissions Specialist, who will report to the Associate Director of Admissions. The duties of this role will include the following:

• Assisting in office management.
• Creating and distributing materials related to student recruitment.
• Collecting and managing data on incoming students.
• Assisting with events related to student recruitment, both on and off campus including: hosting information sessions, open houses, etc.
• Coordinating and conducting campus tours.
• Maintain knowledge of and implement best practices in recruitment and enrollment of the populations served by the University
• Serving on the Admissions Committee.
• Assists in application review, receipt and verification of information, and the timely forwarding of data to other campus departments as needed.
• Act as a liason between the CUNY Law School Admissions Department and external stakeholders.
• Collaborating with the Associate Director on access initiatives.

Some travel is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree and four years' related experience required.

CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW

Supervises activities in an operational unit supporting Admissions and/or Enrollment.

• Oversees staff activities; plans and monitors employee scheduling and coverage and coordinates training
• Serves as liaison to one or more departments providing student support services, such as Financial Aid
• Coordinates selection process activities such as applications review, verification of information, and timely forwarding of data to other CUNY areas
• Coordinates mailings and other communications
• Monitors activity and reports on both transactions and outcomes
• Completes projects to improve services and enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness
• Performs related duties as assigned.

$68,004 - $75,465

Salary commensurate with education and experience.
