Why intern at Deltek?
You will boost essential skills such as communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities while helping the UX Team accomplish goals. We are looking for a student who wants to learn, grow, and take a giant step early in their career, all while making an impact. We offer a remote, 10-week summer internship opportunity working with a global team.
Interns will participate in Deltek’s Summer Speaker Series, professional development and team building activities, and enjoy a meal with our CEO and SVP of Human Resources.
Partner closely with the UX Design Operations Manager, a UX Manager, and a UX Mentor on both UX and design operations projects of varying complexities. Participate in planning and facilitation of meetings, and training initiatives.
Balance multiple inputs, priorities and needs for both UX and DesignOps projects.
Communicate your findings using tools such as FigJam, Microsoft SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Smartsheet (or bring us suggestions!)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and designers to understand user needs and design intuitive, user-centric digital experiences.
Assist in the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Proficiency in Figma to assist in creating polished high-fidelity prototypes and visual designs, ensuring consistency in branding, accessibility, and user interface elements throughout the design process.
