As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process with a focus on accuracy and efficiency to streamline financial workflows. This is a key role that ensures timely payments to vendors and supports the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Processing:
- Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Input and manage accounts payable transactions efficiently.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Vendor Communication:
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and resolve any issues.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors to ensure smooth payment processes.
Month-end Close:
- Assist in month-end close activities related to accounts payable.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data entry and transaction processing.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
