Job Description:

Maxville Lake Winery, a beautiful, "state of the art" Ultra-Premium winery located in Chiles Valley (a sub-appellation of Napa Valley) is seeking a enthusiastic, detail oriented individual to join our winemaking team as Associate Winemaker. Position Responsibilities:
* In collaboration with our Executive Winemaker, develop and impliment all winemaking derectives
* Manage winemaking for both Maxville Lake wines as well as custom clients.
* Generate daily work orders as well as perform computer entry tracking.
* Oversee and supervise daily work of our experienced cellar staff.
* Purchase and maintain cellar supply inventory.
* Perform lab and cellar works as needed.
* Interpret outside lab results to initiate winemaking derectives to maintain wine quality.
* On occasion, act as winery production ambassador for VIP guests.
* Assist Accounting in maintaining government compliance records.
* Maintain winery safety records.

Education and Experience:
* Four year Enology, Chemistry or Bio-Sci degree or signifant winery experience.
* Proven cellar supervisory experience
* Working knowledge of Government wine regulations.
* Computer savy: preferably experienced with Oztera wine tracking (if not, will train) Microslft NAV and Excel
* Organized, easy-going and respectful demeanor
