Job Summary
The College of Business Administration (COBA) at Savannah State University invites applications for a non-tenure-track position as a Lecturer in Business to begin January 03, 2024. Duties include teaching management, marketing, and general business courses. The Lecturer holds office hours and helps students meet educational and professional development objectives through instruction and mentorship. The Lecturer is expected to engage in professional and community service at the college and university levels and may be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically delineated in this description.

Required Qualifications
Requires a Master's degree in a business-related field from an accredited institution and at least five years of relevant professional experience to include a recent leadership role.

Hired faculty are required to activity engage in professional engagement activities to interact with business and management practice OR academic and professional engagement activities.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior in-person and online teaching experience

Significant industry experience in management and marketing roles
Proposed Salary
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
