We have an immediate opportunity for Nurse Manager/Educator at Fremont CA with primary skills in RN experience in an emergency department and some teaching/training background

Must Have:
- Minimum four (4) years of clinical nursing experience related to clinical area of specialization as required by department, including four (4) years of management, supervisory or leadership* experience.
- Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire
- RN experience in an emergency department
- Some teaching/training background. Do not have to have had a formal title. For example, if they have precepted new hires
- Previous management or supervisory experience
Responsibilities: - Will have their RN direct reports in the ED and managing that staffing and day to day operations, however the majority of the time will be as an educator in the department.
- Designs, implements, and evaluates programs that meet learning and competency development needs of clinical staff.
- Responds quickly to corporate changes in clinical practice and provides training required. Insures compliance and documentation of educational programs based on regulatory agency standards.
- Develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates effectiveness of orientation/training/cross-training programs that are based on an assessment of individual skills and evaluated by clinical competency outcome criteria.
