Job description
Estate Planning Paralegal - Providence, Rhode Island
LHH Recruitment solutions is seeking a full-time onsite Paralegal with a background in Rhode Island, Estate Planning. The ideal candidate will have autonomy over their work product and the ability to work independently. The candidate will possess at least 3-5 years of estate planning experience and will be responsible for the collection and organization of documents and information from various cases at the firm. This candidate should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized.
Responsibilities - Review and draft routine estate planning legal documents, complex estate planning documents, estate tax returns, probate pleadings, petitions for probate as well as the preparation of Medicaid Crisis documentation
- Create and maintain case files with knowledge of Rhode, Island estate planning
- Facilitate organization strategies to meet attorney deadlines efficiently
- Assist and meet with clients to aid in estate planning process and Medicaid Crisis applications
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents as necessary
Qualifications - Experience as an Estate Planning paralegal
- 3-5 years of knowledge in RI Estate Planning
- Ability to work independently
- Possess effective communication skills
- BA degree preferred but not required
- Paralegal certificate preferred but not required
Benefits This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $60,000 to $80,000 and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
