Job description
We are seeking a Chief Perfusionist to join our team in Evansville, Indiana.
SpecialtyCare continues to grow and we are expanding our footprint in Evansville, Indiana.SpecialtyCare is the largest provider of perfusion services in the United States. With our national presence and local professionals, we support 1 in 8 of all heart surgeries in the country. We are the Employer of Choice for more than 500 perfusion leaders. The Position and Team
Great team environment! We cover adult only cases and cover OH/TAVR/ATS with minimal ECMO.
Great location - Evansville is home to Tropicana Evansville, the state's first casino; Mesker Park Zoo and Botanic Garden, one of the state's oldest and largest zoos; and sports tourism industry. The city has several educational institutions. The University of Evansvilleis a small private school on the city's east side, while the University of Southern Indiana
Position Requirements
Graduate of Accredited Perfusion training program, minimum required.
Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
Five plus years of perfusion experience; previous experience as a Chief Perfusionist preferred.
Ability to work on Call; must live within 30 minutes from the hospital
