They are based in Atlanta and provide labor-only and turnkey concrete construction solutions to residential builders, commercial contractors, and homeowners.
Salary: - Annual salary of $110,000 - $125,000 (negotiable based on experience), plus 100% employer-paid health/dental/vision, PTO, and an annual bonus of 8% of total profits up to 50% of salary
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a District Field Operations Director for our concrete construction company in the Metro Atlanta area. The ideal candidate will lead expansion efforts, primarily focusing on projects in the North Metro Atlanta area. The role involves overseeing all aspects of field operations, including project management, staff supervision, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee completion of multiple construction projects from start to finish, ensuring efficient coordination between site managers, crews, and suppliers.
- Collaborate with the logistics coordinator to manage material orders and on-site coordination of manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Support budgets, billing, negotiation of vendor costs, quality control, and regulatory documentation in partnership with the Financial and Operations Director.
- Supervise maintenance of equipment and vehicles, ensuring efficient use through GPS and vehicle maintenance apps.
- Make staffing decisions to ensure a high-performing team and mentor team members for professional growth.
- Develop and implement inventory tracking system to manage overhead and optimize supply orders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in concrete construction or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of leadership experience in concrete construction, with comprehensive understanding of industry practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Confident decision-making skills, even in challenging situations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints preferred.
- Fluency or conversational proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- OSHA certification or strong understanding of safety regulations.
