Mission:
The mission of the FreeUp Regional Training Manager is to increase performance, customer service and internal process success through understanding and execution of the FreeUp self-storage learning and training strategy. This person is creative and takes an aggressive approach to process improvement through training. They can effectively collaborate with the Operations, Regional and District teams to raise issues and implement solutions through training. The Training Manager is a results-oriented leader who can develop, coach and understand the full spectrum of stakeholder relationships.
Key Results:
- Build out 12 training modules for the FreeUp Storage Team and create L&D Program.
- Create and execute FreeUp Storage Training Certification Program.
- Visit District Managers 1-2 times monthly for continuous training.
Main Objectives and Responsibilities:
- Drive FreeUp initiatives and corporate cultural values through ongoing learning and development opportunities including new hire support for integrating into the team operational culture and norms.
- Enhance understanding throughout all property teams the business goals and how we can best operationally achieve them through training and process improvement.
- Create and manage new and existing learning resources – organize effectively for access and use.
- Work cross departmentally to identify gaps in cross departmental and intercompany workflows that can be improved through training and process development. Create developmental plans for teams and individuals.
- Identify through feedback and training sessions opportunities for long term operations and process improvement.
- Influence and contribute to building a service culture in the business. Instill processes and tools that will drive consistent service delivery and common service behaviors across the division.
Requirements
- Data Measurement and Response - Measure impact of training initiatives, collect feedback and generate displays or propose formal initiatives as a result of feedback/data conclusions.
- Influence – Possesses the credibility to influence and coach employees, peers and executive management on strategy based on your feedback, knowledge or analysis of internal data sets.
- Training Design – Awareness of how people best learn and the ability to create a holistic model for operational and cultural training goals for FreeUp Property Teams.
- Collaborative – Maintain partnerships across the division and enjoys working across teams.Accepts feedback from all teams and constructively apply to process.
- Organization - Has an efficient and orderly approach to task. Enjoys managing an operational curriculum with several contributors and working with those contributors to maintain accountability with all system participants.
- Presentation – Is professional in appearance and behavior. Effectively and confidently presents material in a way the is efficient and understandable to the audience.
- Business Acumen – Understands the impact of every stakeholder of the business and can apply these unique perspectives into their training materials.
- Flexible/Adaptable - Potential to adjust and learn new skills in response to changing factors, conditions, or environments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year university or college is preferred.
- Self-Storage Property Management Experience a plus.
- 2-3 Years Training Experience
- Up to 50% Travel Required
- Experience with Leapsome L&D platform a plus

Compensation and Benefits: Salaried position ranging from $70k - $85k with potential for profit sharing.
