Job description
Waialae Country Club has an opening for a full-time Sous Chef at our exclusive, beachside country club -- Home of the Sony Open! Responsibilities:
- Oversees the operation of the kitchen.
- Leads, trains, and directs culinary personnel to prepare and cook meals for members and guests.
- Maintains established food quality standards, consistency of menu items, and adheres to sanitation standards.
- Assists with setting-up/breaking down buffets and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
- Responsible for covering stations in the kitchen as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.
Qualifications:
- Must have formal culinary education; and a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Must have excellent knife skills, mastery of all cooking techniques, familiarity of duties in all areas of the kitchen, knowledge of culinary terminology, and the ability to multitask.
- Must be available to work the PM shift

Annual Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 depending on experience
