Job Title: System Administrator
Location: Springfield, VA (on-site only)
Salary: $120-160k DOE

We are seeking a System Administrator to join our GEOINT engineering team at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Springfield, VA.  We are looking for someone with strong experience in implementing, troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining AWS cloud systems. Candidates MUST have an active TS/SCI security clearance at minimum to be considered for this role.  Active CI Poly is preferred.  Due to the sensitive nature of this project, this role is on-site 5 days a week in Springfield, VA.  

The System Administrator will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining systems to ensure they are secure, reliable, and performing optimally.  This is a highly visible position requiring collaboration with multiple stakeholders including team members, vendors, and customers. The System Administrator will be responsible for responding to incidents, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and ensuring that system changes are implemented correctly.

Essential qualifications for the System Administrator role include:

• 5+ years of relevant System Administration experience.
• TS/SCI level Security Clearance with the ability to obtain CI scope Polygraph .
• Proficiency with the AWS C2S Suite and tools.
• Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence.
• Expertise experience in container platform infrastructure in AWS (EKS, ECS).
• Proficient in managing and administering Linux/Windows based systems (LDAP).
• Extensive AWS Cloud Formation knowledge (YAML and/or JSON).
• Systems monitoring experience (Elasticsearch preferred).
• Experience working with GitLab and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience delivering projects via Agile methodologies.

Bachelors Degree in related technical field is preferred (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree).

An active TS/SCI security clearance is REQUIRED. Active TS/SCI w/CI Poly is preferred.
