Position Summary/Description:

The Clinical Trial Program Specialist will report to the Advanced Lead for the Clinical Trial Program in FiRST. The Program Specialist will assist the Advanced Lead in all aspects of clinical trial research. The Program Specialist will work directly with multiple groups and individuals across UNC School of Medicine to communicate financial objectives and results.

Education and Experience:

Experience with grants and contracts. Thorough knowledge of government accounting methods, procedures, and accounting practices. Experience in a university and/or medical setting is preferred. Certified Research Administrator ( CRA ) certification preferred. Knowledge of NIH , NSF , DOD , and other awarding agency regulations and requirements.
