The Finance Transformation role will report to the Hydro International Finance Director and will play a key leadership role in designing and delivering a successful finance function to support the wider IPG water strategy.

This is a strategic role within the organization that is expected to develop an operational understanding of the Hydro and IPG businesses to best support the business and drive growth. The finance systems and process enhancements will have the joint objective of:

1) enabling Hydro and IPG to harmonize on a coordinated go to market strategy; and

2) ensuring adherence to accounting policies and controls environment requirements

In this role, the Finance Transformation Lead will be required to do some travel to visit the various sites across the US, developing strong relationships across the IPG and Hydro leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage systems transition and upgrades with the IT team
• Review systems performance, identify issues and work with colleagues to put plan in place to resolve
• Review financial procedures and policies to ensure they are appropriately designed and adhered to
• Design and implement internal system controls (preventative and detective) to provide quality assurance over financial data
• Organize training and supporting finance team members in the use of financial systems and procedures
• Work with the IT team to design delivery schedules for systems development
• Design of business intelligence reporting
• Support M&A activities and integrations
• Other relevant responsibilities as may arise from time to time

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering or equivalent
• Systems development and finance systems expert – multi-environment experience across different accountancy software, tools and services
• Experience working in dynamic change transformation environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in communicating and influencing senior stakeholders
• Ability to collaborate and train other finance staff
• Advanced computer software skills, including Excel macros
• Skilled financial analyst
