Manager Customer Insights & Strategy for W+

In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to the end-to-end knowledge, analysis, and action-driving insights to enhance the Walmart+ membership value proposition, grow and retain the membership base, and build deeper engagement with our customers.

Our Customer Insights and Strategy team has flexibility on location, for most of our openings, you can live within driving distance to one of our hubs for this role: Bentonville, AR, Hoboken, NJ, or San Bruno, CA. We’re moving toward 3 days in the office per week, with flexibility.
What you will do:
As the Manager, you will own the Walmart+ brand health tracker survey and create quarterly deep dives for the business. Leverage multiple internal resources such as Walmart’s Voice of the Customer platform to provide informed recommendations.
Partner closely with the W+ marketing and business teams , supporting their research needs across upper funnel, acquisition, and retention.
Support the business’s limited time offer and partnership strategy with consumer research as well as collating insights from secondary research reports.
Create and analyze member and consumer surveys using DIY platform tools like Decipher to answer research objectives and Walmart+ business needs.
Following new membership benefit or feature launches , leverage your consultative experience and thought leadership skills to identify, plan and prioritize primary research for potential optimizations. This may include quantitative or qualitative research.
Support the Associate Director, Customer Insights and Consulting to lead multiple consumer research projects (Qualitative and Quantitative) simultaneously to meet business needs across functions.
Work closely with the broader W+ CIS analytics and data science teams to identify key customer behaviors and leverage your research skills to deep dive into the whys and psychology of those behaviors
This Manager of Customer Insights and Strategy is well suited for you if you:
Have 4-6 years of qualitative and quantitative customer insights experience with an interest in innovative techniques and methods
Experience building presentations of actionable insights based on qualitative and quantitative consumer research
Demonstrate outstanding communication and story-telling skills
Have excellent leadership, problem solving, collaboration, critical thinking, and project management skills
Can work effectively and proactively within a matrixed functional organization in partnership with both internal and external business partners
Possess an agile, curious, and self- motivated mindset which translates into a desire for continuous improvement

The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00-$202,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
