Long Description
The Employee Experience & Engagement Senior Specialist position is a high-impact, central role to enhancing the Southwire organizational culture. This individual contributor role will be responsible for driving remarkable employee experiences, helping to establish Southwire as an employer of choice by implementing employee engagement strategies & programs; and promoting Southwire’s, values and brand to create a highly engaged workforce. Under the guidance of the Director of Functional Learning and Employee Experience, he/she will develop and lead the delivery of our Employee Experience & Engagement strategy to support cross-functional connections, collaboration, recognition & appreciation, and a culture of inclusion. This position will be responsible for organizing, planning, and executing the employee feedback survey process and working with business leaders and People & Culture partners to turn survey results into data-driven action plans. The ideal candidate will bring their analytical and program delivery expertise to create programs that help our employees feel engaged and valued, which in turn helps us achieve our business goals. In this role, the ideal candidate will work closely with the extended People & Culture CoEs, as well as our P&C Partners to help shape and strengthen a positive people-centric culture by sustaining, enhancing, and growing our employee experience and engagement practices across all site locations.
Location: Hybrid : Carrollton HQ or Atlanta Battery Office.
Long Description
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deploy engagement strategies to help Southwire be recognized as an Employer of Choice.
Manage external partnerships and vendors for Employee Experience events and programs.
Develop, lead, and execute retention and engagement programs, reward & recognition programs, employee appreciation campaigns and corporate sponsored company-wide employee engagement activities as well as support site P&C Managers with site-specific activities.
Partner with the Communications team to create and share communications around new hire announcements, employee experience events, surveys, programs, and initiatives using the available formats.
Manage the execution of the quarterly and annual employee engagement surveys, including analyzing impact, activating action items, and designing follow-up priorities, and communication plans in partnership with various stakeholders across the organization to support a culture of open and continuous feedback.
Work with business leaders and the People & Culture Business Partners to drive the action planning process; and provide analytical support and utilize employee experience and engagement trends to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to achieve targeted improvements in eNPS scores.
Lead our new hire and exit survey process to document trends and issues impacting employee engagement and retention and drive action plans for improvements.
Liaise with key stakeholders and Culture Champions within People and Culture and the business to drive activities that help shape employee experiences and key “moments that matter” in the employee lifecycle in a manner that increases employee engagement at all Southwire locations.
Consult, coach, train, and partner with site P&C Managers to drive a One Southwire approach to employee experience, recognition, and engagement programs.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree Human Resources, Organizational Development, I/O Psychology or related field
9+ years’ experience Employee Engagement, Culture, or Organizational Development
Strong analytical skills using data & metrics to drive improvement
Ability to multi-task, work independently and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills
Culture champion
Consultative and collaborative approach to effectively influence at all levels
