Inspection Tech  

The Inspection Tech position is responsible for inspecting vehicles for damage that can be repaired using Dent Wizard’s reconditioning processes.   

Responsibilities:

• Verify vehicle status for inventory
• Driving cars to and from locations
• Inspect vehicles for interior/exterior damage
• Complete and submit all reconditioning reports to Lot Manager
• Inspect tires, oil level, and fuel level
• Remove any personal items from vehicle
• Ensure owner’s manual, lighters, roof racks, etc. are in place
• Drive locally or out of area as needed, following all traffic signals and rules of the road
• May be asked to perform miscellaneous job-related duties assigned
• Maintain regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Various other duties to be determined by Lot Manager 

Requirements:

• Automotive reconditioning inspection experience is a plus
• Ability to bend, stoop, knee, stand while inspecting vehicles
• Ability to work in all elements of the weather
• Good eye sight
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have valid driver’s license with no more than 1 moving violation and/or at-fault accident on driving record in the past three years
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past three years
• Previous customer service experience

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The starting base pay is expected to be between $17.00/hr. - $20.00/hr. We offer a competitive & comprehensive benefit package including: paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and 401k match (50% on the dollar up to 7% of employee contribution).
