Job description

This role is responsible for developing and implementing the total sales and marketing strategy of the hotel. The Director of Sales will direct the day-to-day sales activities, plan, organize, develop and communicate strategies and goals. You will be responsible for developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and implementing sales strategies. Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in order to produce group and/or extended stay business. You will create and implement hotel-level tactical sales plan; you’ll be require to work with the General Manager and Front Desk and utilize them as part of your sales team. Also you will be responsible to produce a weekly sales report and sales forecast to analyze current/potential market & sales trends.

REQUIREMENTS:

Requirements include a High School Diploma and/or Higher Education, and 3 – 5 years total experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting, with direct supervisory experience over a sales team, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. You must be able to travel to attend required brand training and conferences. The ability to speak English. You may also be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
