Job Summary
For those interested in Chemical Lab Technician role, then this is the perfect job for you. Assist chemists in their lab work. As time progresses, lab technicians are completing a greater number of tasks that previously would have been performed by highly trained chemists.
Job Description
- Responsible for monitoring chemical processes and testing products as part of quality assurance.
- Under the supervision of chemists and other team members, they perform repetitive lab activities, such as setting up lab equipment and preparing chemical solutions. They also conduct tests, interpret, and analyze data, compile results, prepare reports, and present their conclusions.
- Will be required to assist the R&D Pilot Plant Team with equipment setup, sample analytics, process operations, cleaning and organization of tools and equipment, as well as proper disposal of research samples.
- May need to assist in moving and assembling large and heavy equipment. May also need to lift and move large containers up to 40 lbs.
Skills Required
- Lab experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and/or move heavy equipment, containers, and hoses (intermediate – required)
- Ability to prioritize tasks (intermediate - required)
- Analytical Instrumentation (intermediate - required)
- Assembling (intermediate - required)
- Collection of Data (basic)
- Computer Literacy (intermediate - required)
- Hand tool experience (intermediate - required)
- Exceptionally strong focus on "safety"
- Above average attention to details
- Known for reliability and dependability.
- Enjoys taking ownership and responsibility for work tasks.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
- Able to remain organized and structured.

Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass criminal background check.
- M-F: 8 AM - 5 PM with flexibility
Pay Rate
- $22.00 per hour
