Job Summary: ERII is seeking a qualified candidate for an immediate Full-Time job opening for the position of Maintenance Manager, located in San Leandro, CA. This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing Operations and will be responsible for supervising employees, repairing and maintaining, Machining Equipment. The role will also be responsible for establishing a preventative maintenance program to optimize equipment maintenance cost and utilization in our San Leandro and Tracy CA locations.
Major Duties & Responsibilities: - Train and supervise employees of the maintenance department.
- Manage direct reports and maintain equipment in multiple facilities.
- Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work.
- Establish and maintain a robust preventive maintenance program of all mechanical equipment to increase equipment up-time while reducing overall cost
- Order and maintain adequate spare parts inventory within budgetary guidelines.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment when necessary
- All other projects and duties as assigned
Skills & Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining and repairing manual and/or CNC machines (familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, and Mitsubishi controls preferred).
- Minimum experience of 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Must have a full understanding of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic plant equipment, including CNC and manual machines.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance Software.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build a strong team, including performing skill assessments and developing training plans for technicians.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, staff and contractors.
- Ability to make critical decisions and lead people during emergencies.
- Experience with asset management
- Must be dependable, initiative-taking, and possess strong verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of and experience with various hand and power tools
$100,000 - $120,000 a year
The below range is the range that we reasonably believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This range may be modified in the future. The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000.
