Job description
Overview The Executive Director of Corporate and Cause Partnerships will build robust partnerships and strategic alliances with corporations, businesses, and foundations that have a presence in and/or focus on Georgia. The strategy will be critical to advancing health equity, behavioral health services, workforce development and healthcare innovation. Additionally, this position will manage the fundraising program for the Children's Hospital of Georgia, including the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals partnership. This executive will develop opportunities in close collaboration with service line leadership to identify other key opportunities for funding and actively build community partnerships.
Responsibilities Core Responsibilites and Essential Functions
- Lead development of Corporate, Foundations and Children's Hospital of Georgia (CHOG) strategy.
* Create and articulate an inspiring vision for partnerships that highlights the natural alliances between the issues facing healthcare and the desire of the community to make an impact.
* Seek and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decisions and align others with the corporate and foundation strategy.
* Identify the strategies, directions and insights that will drive the corporate partnerships area within the Foundation plan and package those into sellable opportunities for the team so that measures are met or exceeded.
* Grow new business from corporations and foundations to meet revenue goals.
* Maintain a personal revenue goal and portfolio of new business.
* Lead strategy for research and investigation of new opportunities for funding to expand and diversify the donor base and build pipeline.
* Develop and implement solicitation of support, develop and maintain knowledge of corporate giving interests and trends.
* Lead fundraising strategy for Children's Hospital of GA, including oversight of both CMN program and other opportunities for revenue. - Lead and manage the corporate, foundation and CHOG team.
* Effectively build and manage team to meet key metrics and goals.
* Set clear and challenging goals to drive results.
* Lead team through execution of strategy while coaching for success, including: motivating team, delegating effectively, instilling trust, and working in collaboration.
* Support personal and professional goals for the team. - Collaborate and drive implementation of Foundation strategic plan.
* Collaborate with Foundation President, VP Foundation Strategy and VP Philanthropy to evaluate and maintain Foundation strategic plan.
* Meet annual fundraising goals for renewals and new business.
* Collaborate with hospitals, service lines and departments on funding needs and applicable grants.
* Serve as leader and thought partner in the development of donor relationships through other departments.
* Collaborate and align with System on positioning of CHOG fundraising.

Qualifications Required Minimum Education
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred area of study in business or non profit management Required
Required Minimum Experience
- Minimum 7 years Development experience Required
- Minimum 5 years Management experience Required
Required Minimum Skills
- Microsoft office, prospecting, sales, communication and negotiation skills High
- Raiser's Edge experience preferred, but not required Low
