WebSphere Application Server Engineer

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience/Masters Degree may be preferred with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
Qualifications:
1) Provides advanced technical, ongoing support for Middleware.
2) Oversees the installation, upgrade, testing, and maintenance of multiple server and network operating system environments.
3) Oversees installation and deployment of security patches across the server environment and ensures adherence to change control policies.
4) Reviews and implements technical standards and procedures.
5) Oversees the monitoring and tuning regularly.
6) Produces statistics on performance and is responsible for identifying and resolving performance problems.
7) Ensures problem resolution.
8) Review research, testing, and recommendations.
9) Performs other related duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
1) May require extended work hours.
2) May be subject to on-call and call back as needed.
3) Re sponsibilities :
1) Provides ongoing multi-computer site support for Middleware Software activities associated with installing, upgrading, testing, and maintaining Middleware software and hardware in multiple servers and network operating system environments.
2) Follows detailed work plans for both installation and continuing maintenance. Conducts tests and monitors new installations.
3) Advanced level position is recognized as an advanced contributor and subject matter expert.

1) Advanced knowledge of concepts and principles in functional areas.
General knowledge of System operations, policies, procedures, and technologies. Communications:
