Job Title:   Civil Project Engineer 

Location:  Waldorf MD, Lanham MD, or Rockville MD

Salary:  $85-95K

Requirements:   BSCE with 5+ years of Land Development experience working with MicroStation or AutoCAD

Additional Ways In Which A Candidate May Stand Out Would Be:

• Professional Engineer, PE license preferred but not required

What you will be doing:

• Support of a variety of major projects in the region
• The Senior Engineer must be career driven, technologically savvy, and able to adapt to a wide variety of project types and sizes
• Diverse range of duties from general civil engineering, to technical work that requires strong capabilities in MicroStation or AutoCAD
• Utilizing strong skills in creating land development plans, water resources, stormwater management design, sediment control plans and water sewer design. 
• Responsible for the project design including: grading, road design, drainage, sediment control, SWM, water and sewer
• Communicates effectively with coworkers, sub consultants, clients, and review agencies
• Works efficiently to meet project budgets
• Prepares graphics, exhibits, and site / civil construction plans
• Composes technical reports, memorandums and other written communication such as email.
• Handle multiple concurrent projects

What you will need for this position:

• BS degree in Civil Engineering 
• 5+ years of progressive experience of land development projects
• Demonstrated ability to meet project and client deadlines
• Ability to mentor and train other civil engineering design staff.
